Tour description:

We go on a journey in and around the city center, where we stop for us, what makes Stavanger to something more than just oljeby.

Rogaland has traditionally been one of the largest matfat. Our tour focuses on the flavors, smells and visuals of the story.

The tour starts in the city yesterday visiting Norwegian Canning Museum, where we tour and try us as "canning workers" and taste a selection of sardines.

In the bay we go along the old waterfront and we take a new stop to taste the herring period.

We go to the fish market for a closer look at the world's only "live" cod in slices.

Here again, we taste some of what we offer.

We looked at the characteristics of Stavanger matby today, with the width provided by the restaurants in town.

End point of the tour is at Butcher Idsøe, where we can sample specialties like lammeconfit and theater sausage.

Turtid about 2 hours.
There will be opportunities for participants and act of matfylkets specialties in the fish market and at slaughter A. Idsøe
