Sally Ann
...is The Salvation Army's fair trade concept.
The shop...sells designer and handcraft products manufactured in Bangladesh, Kenya and Peru.
Through The Salvation Army's network in these countries, poor and underprivileged groups, such as prostitutes and disabled people, get a job with fair wages.
The selection of products range from interior decoriation and gift items to clothing and accesories.
Most products have a western design and all hold high quality, plus they carry an interesting story...

The Salvation Army's first Norwegian corps was started in Oslo in 1888.
Today, the office in Oslo is the Territorial Headquarters for the Salvation Army in Norway, Iceland and The Faroes.
The territory has 115 corps, providing various activities.

Sally Ann in Fretex

In Stavanger, you can now buy products from Sally Ann in a separate section in the Fretex shop at Mariero.
Sally Ann is The Salvation Army concept of Fair Trade.
Sally Ann's goal is to transform people's lives and combating poverty.
Many people in Bangladesh, Moldova, Kenya and Peru produce rugs, runners, bags, cards, baskets and furniture.
These products are now for sale in Stavanger, in addition to the Sally Ann store on Majorstua in Oslo.
