FairTrade Stavanger

FairTrade is a strategy for poverty alleviation & sustainable developement. It's purpose is to create opportunities for producers & workers who have been economically disadvantaged or marginalized by the conventional trading system.

The FairTrade mark is a registered certification label for products sourced from producers in developing countries.

FairTrade Norway was very proud to announce Stavanger as a FairTrade City in June 2007

More info...

Welcome to Oleana's own flagship-store in Stavanger.
Here you will find the whole famous collection of award-winning porducts.

Oleana takes pride in using only natural fibres like wool, silk, alpaca & cashmere.
We believe that we have to produce less, but more beautiful clothes in our part of the world.

Oleana is one of the few knitters left in Norway who both knits & sews all our products at our own factory located just outside of Bergen. We like to swim against the stream.

The future belongs to the storytellers.

Note: see separate posting for Oleana for a sample of what's posted on their webpage, only to see the sweaters you'll have to go to the webpage - I think their designer or they are protective of their images, so only copied the link & the logo...
